Being the Observer
Sit in a comfortable, stable posture.
Allow ten or more minutes for sitting.
Notice stillness in the room around you.
Focus on breathing, enjoy breathing.
Your mind is like the sky that thoughts move across so when a thought arises, watch it go by like a cloud.
Observe drifting thoughts and gently refocus on breathing.
No longer receiving your attention thoughts pass on by.
Thoughts come and go, you remain.
You have thoughts, you observe thoughts, and you are more than your thoughts.
